The Hyatt Regency brand is now open for business in the booming Chinese city of Chongqing.

Catering to both business and leisure travelers, Hyatt Regency Chongqing is strategically located in the bustling business corridor of Jiangbei District, the new central business district in Chongqing, which is 20 minutes away from all the major commercial and industrial zones, and a 15-minute drive to the new Chongqing International Expo Centre, the largest exhibition center in Western China and the second largest in China.
The new hotel, situated in the middle of the increasingly popular shopping area of Bei Cheng Tian Jie (known as 'Paradise Walk'),is part of a new mixed-use development combining high-end offices, luxury shopping and various dining and entertainment experiences.

"The strategic move to bring the Hyatt Regency brand to the metropolis of Chongqing is another milestone in Hyatt's development in China. We are very pleased to introduce and deliver our authentic hospitality to this bustling market, and look forward to welcoming guests from Chongqing, China, and all over the world in the coming months and years," said Larry Tchou, Managing Director, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts - Asia Pacific.
