Lauren Beale is the Hot Property columnist for The Los Angeles Times.

In addition to covering the celebrity real estate beat for the newspaper, she writes and edits for the Sunday Business section, she blogs at Money & Co. and handles web production duties for The Times’ Real Estate page.

A 30-year veteran of The Times, Beale’s stint has included reporting, copy editing, page design and line editing in sections including Business, Real Estate, Travel, Book Review, Food, the Sunday magazine, entertainment and lifestyle. She was Real Estate Editor from 2000 until the section closed in 2008.

Lauren is also current President of the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE).
