(NASSAU, BAHAMAS) - The private luxury development Albany has launched its pre-sales program for the first three marina residence buildings at Albany Marina. Designed by Morris Adjmi, Gwathmey Siegel and HKS Architects, these properties will form the western boundary of the marina and have spectacular ocean and marina views.

With open floor plans, flexible bedroom configurations and expansive views of the marina, ocean and community, the marina residences come in both modern and classic profiles and add a new dimension to the Albany Marina. Residences range from two- to four-bedroom units with home theaters to large penthouses with private swimming pools.

Albany sales representative Camille Duvall-Hero of New York-based Warburg Realty is pleased to report construction begins the first quarter of 2012, and residences will be ready for occupancy by Christmas 2013.

Another exciting update at Albany, a development by Orlando-based Tavistock Group, is the looming groundbreaking of Albany's golf clubhouse. The clubhouse is to be set amongst the course's windswept dunes and offers commanding views of the 9th and 18th holes.

Complementing the architectural style of Albany's northern amenities, the clubhouse will offer a grill room and bar, men and women's locker rooms, a pro shop and terrace where members and guests can watch golfers close out the challenging holes of Albany's championship course designed by Tiger Woods and Ernie Els. Construction begins this quarter, and the clubhouse should be operational by Christmas 2012.

We are working with some of our trusted partners to transform the existing Pro Shop area within the fitness complex into a sports analytical center for excellence. The center will gauge run dynamics and other areas of fitness using state-of-the-art computer programs.

In other amenities being offered, Albany members can soon enjoy the sand and surf on horseback through the club's new equestrian program operated in partnership with Mariposa Stables & Riding Club and Erika Adderley.  Stables are currently under construction, and Albany is in the process of buying its first four horses to enjoy year-round instruction as well fun trail rides from the tennis center to and along the beach.

Meanwhile, in partnership with the highly renowned Stuart Cove's, Albany will now offer a wide variety of watersports activities for members to enjoy at Albany's resort-style community. The watersports program will be located in the new watersports pavilion at Albany Beach and will be fully operational by November.
