Olivia Newton John has done her share of moving around Malibu, CA and now that the singer-actress from Down Under has sold the home she had listed most recently at $11,495,000, she's on the move again, according to local real estate sources.
It took the singer about a year to sell her home, but then it went for more than $10-million, the sources said.
It is Mediterranean in style and has four-bedrooms and seven-bathrooms in 6,400 square feet. The home is also a compound on nearly 1.3 acres. Besides the main house, there is a two-bedroom guesthouse plus a pool and spa on the property.
The home, in a gated community, was previously owned by the widow of actor Charles Bronson, and singer Britney Spears was a neighbor.
The buyers were identified as Patrick Kevin Morris, an entertainment lawyer, and his wife Gaby Morgerman, a senior vice president at the William Morris Agency.
Newton-John, 60, costarred with John Travolta in the movie "Grease", and she has won four Grammy Awards. Among the songs she made famous are "Physical", "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and "You're the one that I want".
Tatiana Golovin, a rising star in tennis who has been sidelined this past year with back problems, has put her Miami condo on the market at $1.3-million.
Golovin, a 20-year old French citizen born in Russia, spent years in Florida, training at the well-known tennis camp of Nick Bollettieri, but last year, Golovin's back problems forced her to drop out of the U.S. Open and the Olympics. Because she made fewer visits to Miami, it made little sense to keep the condo and so it was listed for sale.
It is in a 46-story tower on Brickell Key, a triangular island on Biscayne Bay. The 2,300 square foot unit has three-bedroom, three-bathrooms and a powder room. It also has marble floors and a wrap around balcony. The tower has a concierge, a pool, a gym and tennis courts.
Polly Schiff of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate has the listing.
