Even for Los Angeles, it's an impressive cast. Roger Moore owned the Beverly Hills Post Office Spanish hacienda in the '80s and '90s, then Candice Bergen bought it, and now the new owner is Cameron Diaz.
The property was quietly shopped around to agents as a pocket listing for $10.25 million, but the sales price has not yet been reported on the L.A. County Tax Assessor's website. Occupying about 3 acres in a gated community, the compound has a 5,000-square-foot main house with three bedrooms and four bathrooms and a 2,000-square-foot guesthouse with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, according to the marketing pitch.
Brick defines the alfresco dining area and surrounds the swimming pool and spa. Sweeping stairs lead down to an expansive lawn. There are fruit trees, a tennis court and a gazebo beside a stream.
Moore, 82, secret agent 007 in seven of the James Bond films, owned the estate for about a decade. When Bergen, 64, bought the property from him in 1996 for $3.4 million, it had 1.5 acres of land, Times archives indicate. The Emmy-winning actress, star of "Boston Legal" (2004-08) and "Murphy Brown" (1988-98), expanded the property and renovated the 1949 estate, which was featured in Architectural Digest.
Now comes Diaz, 37, whose purchase follows her star turns in "Knight and Day" (2010) and "My Sister's Keeper" (2009).

The contemporary Mediterranean has large public rooms designed for entertaining and city light views. There are four bedrooms, 4 1/2 bathrooms and 4,297 square feet of living space.
Eve, 31, appeared last year in the roller derby film "Whip It" and played a rival choral coach on "Glee." She starred in the TV series "Eve" from 2003 to '06. Her first three albums sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.
She purchased the gated house in 2005 for $1,775,000, public records indicate.
The home originally came on the market a year ago at $2,395,000 and has been relisted, according to the MLS.

Pet Project Will Require a Move
"Hawthorne" producer Preston Fischer and his wife, Marsha Lewis, have listed their Marina Del Rey, Calif., penthouse at $899,000.
Located in a gated complex built in 1980, the custom unit has two terraces bringing light into its 2,300 square feet of living space. The Italian-style kitchen, designed by Adam Wheeler, features new stainless-steel appliances, an eight-burner Wolf range and a Miele dishwasher.
Designed for entertaining, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo has a living room with two-story-tall windows, a media room, a loft that could serve as a third bedroom, a rooftop sundeck and two fireplaces faced with marble. Other details include shoji screens, Solatube skylights and Italian porcelain floors.
Among community amenities are a swimming pool and tennis courts.
Fischer worked on the hospital drama's first and second seasons starting in 2009. Among his other credits are the TV movies "Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years" (1999) and "The Two Mrs. Grenvilles" (1987).
The couple is selling because they would like to find a four-bedroom place that accommodates more visitors and more dogs, Fischer said.
