Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Sell Malibu Oceanfront Home

Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon have sold their oceanfront house in Malibu for $7.925 million. Their 2.5-acre estate in Hidden Hills remains on the market at $12.999 million.

The three-story beach house features a walled garden, five bedrooms, five bathrooms and 4,500 square feet of living space. The master bedroom suite and a wood-paneled library take up the entire second floor.

Songwriter Ozzy Osbourne, 63, was the lead singer for the heavy metal group Black Sabbath before launching his solo career. Sharon Osbourne, 59, is his manager and a co-host on "The Talk" (2010-present). Their family life was the subject of the reality show "The Osbournes" in the early 2000s.

Public records show the couple bought the Malibu house in 2003 for $5.1 million. Listed at $10 million last year, the price had been reduced to $8.795 million.

Abdul Dances Out of Sherman Oaks

Paula Abdul, the singer, dancer and former judge on "American Idol" and "The X Factor," has sold her house in Sherman Oaks for $1.884 million. She had listed it in late February at $1.899 million.

The gated contemporary Mediterranean was built in 2000. It features a grand entry hall with a double staircase, French doors opening to patio and pool areas, five bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms. The 4,679-square-foot house has mountain, canyon and city views.

The onetime Laker Girl, 49, won Emmys for her choreography on "The Tracey Ullman Show" (1989) and "The 17th Annual American Music Awards" (1990), and a Grammy in 1991 for the "Opposites Attract" music video. Among her early hits were "Straight Up" and "Forever Your Girl."

Public records show Abdul bought the property the year it was built for $1.285 million.

A Labor of Love in Santa Monica

The Santa Monica home of screenwriter Alvin Sargent and his late wife, film producer Laura Ziskin, has come on the market at $11.85 million.

Ziskin worked with designer Jane Hallworth in creating the detailed interiors. A back-lit honeycomb onyx fireplace is a focal point of the living room. In the powder room, a smoky beveled mirror provides a backdrop for a sink made out of a single piece of wood. A hammered brass tub from India looks like an art object in the master bathroom.

Outside, a teak-slat sidewalk leads from the house to the swimming pool, which is covered in small, hand-set tiles. An outdoor room features a fireplace.

The gated Monterey Colonial, built in 1942, includes four bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms.

Sargent, 85, won Oscars for "Julia" (1977) and "Ordinary People" (1980). He worked on the screenplays for "Spider-Man 2" (2004), "Spider-Man 3" (2007) and "The Amazing Spider-Man," due out in July.

Ziskin, who died last year at 61, produced "Pretty Woman" (1990), "As Good as It Gets" (1997) and the "Spider-Man" films. She had a seat with task lighting built into the kitchen island for working at home.

Bowing Out of Billionaire's Beach

Music industry mogul Irving Azoff has sold his house along Malibu's "Billionaires' Beach" for $10 million. The buyer is attorney Stuart Liner and his wife, Stephanie.

The stretch of beach got the nickname from its wealthy neighbors, including David Geffen, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Larry Ellison and Paul Allen.

The contemporary house features a circular wet bar, high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling doors that open to a deck. There are five bedrooms, five bathrooms and more than 3,500 square feet of living space.

Azoff is executive chairman of Live Nation Entertainment and the founder of Azoff Music Management Group. He has represented singers including Christina Aguilera, Jewel, Seal and David Archuleta.

Liner is managing and co-founding partner of Los Angeles law firm Liner Grode Stein Yankelevitz Sunshine Regenstreif & Taylor.

Public records show Azoff bought the house in 2004 for $8,309,500.

Leaving His Orbit in Beverly Hills

Actor Billy Dee Williams, known as Lando Calrissian to fans of the early "Star Wars" movies, has left his empire in Beverly Hills, selling his house for $2,790,600.

Built in 1961 and set on more than half an acre in the Trousdale Estates neighborhood, the house is described as a "Zen-like contemporary" in the listing. The 5,295-square-foot home features French doors that open to a deck, swimming pool and spa. There are six bedrooms and six bathrooms including maid's quarters.

Williams, 74, starred in "Brian's Song" (1971) and "Lady Sings the Blues" (1972). Since he starred as Han Solo's buddy in "Star Wars: Episode V -- The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) and "Star Wars: Episode VI -- Return of the Jedi" (1983), Williams has appeared on such TV shows as "General Hospital" (2009), "Diary of a Single Mom" (2009-10) and "White Collar" (2011).

Public records show Williams bought the property in 1984 for $553,000.

Two's Company at Glendale Compound

Actress Priscilla Barnes, who was cast as a replacement roommate in the 1980s sitcom "Three's Company," must have taken her role as a renter to heart. Barnes and her husband, Ted Monte, have become first-time homeowners with the purchase of a gated compound in Glendale for its asking price of $689,000.

The property is more than a third of an acre and includes a main house, a guesthouse and stables. The main residence contains two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is one bedroom and one bathroom in the guesthouse.

Barnes, 56, has appeared in numerous movies, including "License to Kill" (1989), "Mallrats" (1995) and "The Devil's Rejects" (2005).
