Bad news for anyone who dreamed of living in the home once owned by former Playboy model turned reality show train wreck Anna Nicole Smith.
The 4,770-square-foot Mediterranean-style home in Studio City, the setting for "The Anna Nicole Show," has sold for $1.31 million. The house, which includes valley views and a "dramatic" two story entry hall, originally hit the market in July of 2011 priced at $1.75 million.
Ms. Smith purchased the house under her real name, Vickie Marshall, in 2005 for $1.335 million. When she died in Feb. 2007 of drug-related issues the house passed to her daughter, Dannielynn, according to a spokesperson for Redfin, the real estate brokerage.
The house was tied up in the legal squabbles until 2011, when Smith's lawyer-cum-lover Howard K. Stern received court permission to sell the property, according to Redfin.
