Caroline Kennedy is selling two parcels of land are part of the famous Kennedy estate in Martha's Vineyard, the famous destination for the rich and famous. The price tag: $45 million.
The two parcels cover more than 90 acres of prime waterfront property, according to Bloomberg. The larger 366-acre Kennedy property was reportedly purchased by Caroline's mother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, in 1978.
The land has "incredible views of Squibnocket Pond, with further views over towering sand dunes to the Atlantic Ocean," according to the listing for one of the parcels. "Plenty of privacy with varied topography and easy pond access."
The two properties are the only ones available to sell after Caroline Kennedy and her husband Edwin Schlossberg subdivided the estate into seven parcels to protect and preserve the land for their children, according to the Christian Science Monitor.
It is important to remember that the $45 million will only get you the land, with no building. But it is "yours to create a marvelous estate," according to the listing.
