Anyone interested in living like Ol' Blue Eyes now has the chance. Frank Sinatra's former retreat in California's Palm Desert is on the market, priced at $3.995 million.
Villa Maggio, named after Mr. Sinatra's character in From Here to Eternity, was built in 1967 by architect Ross Patton, according to Realtor.com.
At a time when Mr. Sinatra was topping Billboard charts, Villa Maggio was home to many Rat Pack parties and a hangout for his friends, according to local lore. The 10-acre property includes a three-bedroom main house, three-bedroom guest house and a two-bath, double-sauna pool house.
Although some of the interior decor has a modern feel, Villa Maggio's mid-century design "retains much of the colorful, late-1960s eclecticism that followed the subdued, minimalist aesthetic of postwar America," according to the listing.
The retreat originally cost $1.9 million to build, and includes a private helipad.
