Rock star Jon Bon Jovi has cut the listing price for his New York City penthouse to $39.9 million, five months after listing the apartment for $42 million.
The singer purchased the five-bedroom, 5.5-bath Soho duplex in 2007 for $24 million, according to Curbed. The sun-filled apartment features a "massive" great room with wood-burning fireplace, 11-foot ceilings, three landscaped terraces, screening room and arched windows that "add to the drama," according to the listing.
Known for such hits as "Blaze of Glory," Mr. Bon Jovi was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009.
Other celebrities looking to sell a New York penthouse includes Rosie O'Donnell, although for the more pedestrian price of $10.9 million.
