Turns out the Harlem townhouse sold last month for a reportedly neighborhood-record price was purchased by TV star Neil Patrick Harris for $3.6 million.
Although the sale made news last month, Mr. Harris didn't end up paying the full asking amount of $4 million for the 8,000-square-foot home, according to Curbed. However, the sale price is still higher than the townhouse average for the area of $1.65 million, Curbed reports.
The Fifth Ave. townhouse is comprised of two units, a triplex and a commercial duplex downstairs. The "sun-filled" home has four bedrooms, a family room with floor to ceiling shelving, hardwood floors, two terraces and a back yard, according to the listing.
The commercial space features a mezzanine, exposed bricks, hardwood floors and 12-foot ceilings.
