Comedienne Rita Rudner has listed her home on the Monarch Bay community in Dana Point, California, for $8.975 million home, and she's including free tissues in the deal.
In a marketing effort to promote the deal, the Ms. Rudner created a YouTube video giving viewers a detailed tour of the 5,000-square-foot beach house.
Mrs. Rudner walks through the house, describing the living room where she and her husband "do roughly 33 percent of our living" and a patio so private it is paparazzi-free. In the tour of the bedroom she makes it clear the tissues are included in the purchase price.
"Sometimes after a hard day of staring at the ocean," Ms. Rudner says, "I just like to kick back, turn on the TV and watch the wrestling."
Rudner and husband, director-writer Martin Bergman, who featured the Monarch Bay home in the 2011 film "Thanks," purchased the house unfinished on leased land six years ago for $5.85 million. They completed the work and bought the parcel in December for $2.15 million, according to the New York Times.
The house, listed by Sotheby's International Realty, includes a home theatre, private elevator and a "lifestyle created by the floor to ceiling disappearing walls of glass doors."
