Hollywood funny man Steve Martin has listed his vacation home, Villa Au Soleil, in the Caribbean island of St. Barth for â¬8.75 million ($11.4 million).
The island in the French West Indies has increasingly become a vacation spot for the rich and famous, but it appears Mr. Martin is ready to move on.
The four-bedroom, four-bath Villa Au Soleil, located in the hills of Lurin, offers "luxury, ambiance and privacy," and is "an ideal vacation home for those who enjoy entertaining," according to the listing.
With a 180-degree view of St. Jean, the villa includes a gourmet kitchen, multiple terraced dining areas, a media area and a private hot tub on the master bedroom's terrace.
Outside, the villa has lush tropical gardens with a lily pond, a fountain and "a Balinese style gazebo." It also offers multiple terraces, a sun deck and a two-tiered infinity pool.
Mr. Martin purchased the villa in 2008, when it was listed for $9 million. He also rents out the house, which reportedly draws between $16,500 and $38,000 a week, depending on the season.
The Hollywood actor also owns a 5.86-acre estate in Santa Barbara and two adjacent mini-estates in Los Angeles, according to Real Estalker.
