Country singer Taylor Swift's childhood home in Pennsylvania sold for $700,000 this week, $100,000 below the asking price.
The final price is higher, however, than the $480,000 the previous owners paid for the house in 2007.
Using the country singer's fame as a marketing push, the listing pointed out Ms. Swift lived in the house for 10 years "before moving to Nashville to become a star."
The 1929 classical six-bedroom, five-bath home has been revamped since Ms. Swift last wandered the halls and practiced her guitar. The property sits on 0.75 acres and features white columns at the entrance, classic white shutters and restored interior and exterior trim and stucco.
The buyer of the house has not been disclosed, according to Redfin, although we will assume it was diehard fan hoping to find childhood mementos of the country singer.
