NFL quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen have made their next real estate move. The power couple is spending $14 million for a condo unit on the 47th floor of One Madison Park, according to the New York Post.
The three-bedroom, full-floor condo features interiors by Danish designer Thomas Juul-Hansen and includes "solid quarter-sawn white oak plank floors and oversized doors, a master bedroom with his and hers closets and a master bath with a soaking tub and custom double vanities," the paper reports.
The tower first hit the market in 2007, only to face financial hardship when the market collapsed. It was rescued by Related Companies after many foreclosures and lawsuits, according to the Post.
Since then prospective buyers include actor Leonardo DiCaprio and fashion tycoon Vera Wang have looked at apartments the Post reports, citing unnamed sources.
The 60-story tower features designs by Cetra/Ruddy and offers views of Madison Avenue and the Manhattan skyline from every unit, according to the building's website.
The Patriots' quarterback and the top-earning model are not new to the real estate game. They own a large 22,000-square-foot mansion in L.A. And they plan to build a similar mansion in Brookline, near Boston, the Post said. The couple has a reported net worth of $90 million.
