Billy Casper Golf to Manage Tomoka Oaks Golf and Country Club

(ORMOND BEACH, FL) -- Billy Casper Golf, which owns and operates more than 120 golf courses, country clubs and resorts throughout the United States, has been retained to manage the semi-private Tomoka Oaks Golf and Country Club located about 10 minutes north of Daytona Beach.

The engagement increases Billy Casper's management presence to 10 properties in Florida and 18 in the southeast region.

BCG will oversee all aspects of Tomoka Oaks' property maintenance, staffing and training, clubhouse operations, merchandising, food and beverage, membership programs, marketing and public relations, financial management, golf instruction and special events.

"Billy Casper Golf has a proven track record restoring golf assets to their former luster," says L. Wayne McClain, president and chief executive officer of Putnam State Bank, owner of Tomoka Oaks.  "A soundly-managed course and clubhouse will help make Tomoka Oaks a 'destination' golf club."

BCG will enroll Tomoka Oaks in the Audubon International "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" program, ensuring high standards protecting the environment and preserving the natural heritage of golf.  Results include a reduction of maintenance costs, including insurance premiums, energy, water, pesticides, fertilizer, equipment wear and labor.
