One of Abu Dhabi's leading real estate developers, Aldar Properties PJSC, said this week that they are making steady progress in the sales of residential properties as more of its communities under development move towards completion.
With residents now well settled into their homes at Al Bandar, the first community to be delivered at Al Raha Beach in September last year, there are now only a small percentage of the apartments still available for purchase.
At Cityscape Abu Dhabi this week Aldar is showcasing Al Zeina and Al Muneera, the residential waterfront developments neighbouring Al Bandar at Al Raha Beach and which will be handed over later in 2011. A selected number of homes at Al Zeina will be available for purchase at the event, while interest can be registered for Al Muneera.
Rami Nasser, Aldar Director of Sales & Commercial Leasing said, "We are seeing a more optimistic outlook from purchasers as Al Zeina and Al Muneera move towards their openings later this year. With Al Bandar next door completed more than 6 months ago, with HQ now home to a number of firms, and the attractions of Yas Island only minutes away, the benefits of living at Al Raha Beach start to become very real, and people are expressing more interest in these communities."
In a sign of demand for Aldar's properties across the city, at Al Bateen Park, the community at the heart of Abu Dhabi Island offered to UAE Nationals, sales of the launched 75 villas at 12 penthouse apartments, were brisk with the majority being sold on the first day.
The recently launched 5 bedroom villas at Al Ward, a new villa community at Al Raha Gardens comprising of 28 five bedroom villas, have been well received by the market, with more than 50% sold to date.
Rami Nasser continued, "It is particularly heartening, not just for Aldar but for the Abu Dhabi property market in general, that we are witnessing an increase in interest from potential purchasers across our property range."
