While Genting Awaits Destination Casino License Fate in Miami, Today They Announce Resorts World Bimini Bay Casino Just 45 Miles Off Miami's Coast

(Miami, FL) -- While waiting on the fate of their proposed $3.5 billion uber-luxe Resorts World Miami destination casino gambling license with the State of Florida legislature next year, Genting Group pulls the trigger with a boutique smaller casino just 45 miles off Miami's cost on the island of Bimini.

Today RAV Bahamas LTD., developer of Bimini Bay Resort & Marina and Rockwell Island Beach Estates has announced a new partnership with Genting Malaysia Berhad ("Genting Malaysia") to launch a new, multi-million dollar, luxury gaming facility in North Bimini, to be called Resorts World Bimini Bay, which is set to debut in mid December 2012.

The 10,000 square foot world-class casino located within Bimini Bay Resort will introduce an entirely new concept to the destination and feature state-of-the-art gaming including popular table games, slots within a modern Caribbean décor, a sleek entertainment bar and a restaurant lounge.

The new strategic partnership between RAV Bahamas and Genting Malaysia will create the only casino in North Bimini and offer residents, resort guests and visitors from South Florida alike a new form of entertainment, world class gaming.
