ORLANDO, FL -- The Florida NAIOP Food & Wine Festival originally set for early November - when Hurricane Nicole stormed in -- has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 26 on Church Street in downtown Orlando.
The delay didn't dampen the enthusiasm of the developers and owners who reserved exhibit space, and it even garnered more support of the inaugural event. Booth spaces are sold out, according to Shayna Hansen, NAIOP Board of Directors President and Regional Director of Lincoln Property Company.
Hansen said the collaborative event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. and showcase Central Florida's commercial developments and upcoming projects. From 5 to 7 p.m., those registered to attend will learn about the latest developments, speak directly with developers and network with CRE professionals, she explained.
"We have received amazing support from our community partners. This festival will be a tradeshow style event that will provide a platform for Central Florida developers to share new, planned and existing projects with NAIOP's network of brokers, developers, owners, investors and associated professionals," she said.
Participants and registered guests will enjoy live music, a variety of food and drink tents, prizes and raffles. Ceviche Mix, Ghost Kitchen, Braza and Seafood Bandits are among the many food vendors who will be set up and remain open until 9 p.m.
Registration to attend is $50 for Members and Brokers; $45 for Developing Leaders and $100 for Non-Members. Registration closes Jan. 19. Late registration is $150.
