This week the Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, leisure and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, announced that the construction of the third phase of the Saadiyat Beach Villas (SBV), which comprises 77 luxurious residences, is on track for completion in June 2015. Moreover, all blockwork for the project has been laid and completed by the beginning of 2015. This has been achieved with over 2.5 million incident-free man hours logged since work began end of 2013.
Ahmad Al Fahim, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, Sales & Leasing at TDIC said, "We are pleased that construction is on track for the latest phase of development for the Saadiyat Beach Villas. Once completed, the total number of residences within this lively villa-based community will grow to 428 units. These 77 villas, which were sold within short time from their launch, reflect the continued demand and interest TDIC receives in the real estate market today. We will continue to meet this demand through additional developments, such as Mamsha Al Saadiyat, which was launched in September of last year and which is the first residential community to be based in the Cultural District."
The Saadiyat Beach Villas are four and five-bedroom villas available in Mediterranean Standard style, with a 4,833 square foot built-up area for a standard four-bedroom villa whereas a five-bedroom villa will be 5,834 square foot. Inspired by the desert and the Mediterranean, each home is characterised by outdoor terraces, stone veneers and detailed balcony railings while the interiors include spacious rooms, premium fittings and a vibrant colour scheme. Furthermore, residents can enjoy the community's landscaped parks, play areas for children, swimming pools and terraces, state-of-the-art gyms, and basketball and squash courts.
In addition to enjoying the villas' prime location in the island's hospitality hotspot - Saadiyat Beach District, homeowners can also experience a wide range of privileges and benefits presented by Advantage, an exclusive loyalty programme for TDIC's residential communities. These include receiving discounts on dining, spa treatments, best available room rates, annual membership fees, and many more at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, The Collection, Saadiyat, Saadiyat Beach Club, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, Abu Dhabi Golf Club, The Westin Golf Resort & Spa, Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa, Eastern Mangroves Promenade, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, and Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, Fanr restaurant as well as the Saadiyat Public Beach managed by Bake.
The community is also in close proximity to Saadiyat Cultural District, which will feature three leading cultural institutions designed by five Pritzker Architecture Prize winners. These include Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. The Saadiyat Cultural District is today home to Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, an elite campus of Cranleigh School, a leading UK independent school founded in 1865. Moreover, New York University Abu Dhabi has opened its campus in the Saadiyat Marina District. A retail centre offering day-to-day conveniences is also set to be developed, which will feature a grocery store, a pharmacy, a hair & nail salon and a coffee shop.
