Panama-based Red Frog Beach Island Resort & Spa announced this week the resort's newest amenity, La Rosa Beach Club. The new addition features event and meeting spaces, a bar, a restaurant, a stunning waterfall and an infinity-edge pool.
La Rosa Beach Club was designed by Latin American architect Bernal Saborio, who assisted in the design of the award-winning club and pool at Los Suenos Resort in Costa Rica. Strategically placed at the crest of Isla Bastimentos, where there are white sand beaches and palm trees, the new Beach Club offers breathtaking views. Blue cloud marble was used to create the pool's infinity edge and local artistic elements give the location an authentic ambiance.
La Rosa Beach Club is made up of five levels, each offering something unique to guests. The top level welcomes guests into a lobby offering stunning seascapes of the blue Caribbean. The level below has a new restaurant that offers brunch, lunch, and tapas. The dishes feature Panama and Caribbean-inspired options featuring local fish and salads. Cocktails and juices can also be enjoyed. The same level also offers event meeting spaces which are ideal for any gathering including weddings which guests can coordinate with the resort's wedding planner. The bar and pool level feature an intricate infinity-edge pool consisting of a jacuzzi, water bridge and pool for children, all overlooking the beach. Guests will be mesmerized by the 34-foot waterfall, the largest one in the archipelago, and can enjoy the view from one of the oversized lounge decks. The beach bar, made from colored natural driftwood, displays hanging log light fixtures from the resort's teak plantation and mosaic-rimmed mirrors that reflect the beautiful scenery of the area. In the lower level, the Beach Club walks out onto the beautiful white sand Turtle Beach.
"We are extremely proud of the addition of La Rosa Beach Club to our property as we believe it is helping position Red Frog Beach as one of the best resorts in Panama," said Juan Farina, Resort Director of Red Frog Beach Island Resort & Spa. "The Beach Club is not only a great place for our guests to enjoy the pool and beach but to also host unforgettable events such as weddings and retreats."
