Miami-based GLOBAL LISTINGS announced this week the launch of a new business offering called its Global Listings Service, or GLS for short. It's the world's first consumer-facing global MLS platform.
Company founder Michael Gerrity explains that real estate professionals worldwide can now access new customer acquisition opportunities by becoming a member of their GLS. Currently, their GLS platform onboards, hosts and promotes over 3+ million property listings across over 110 countries each month and growing, connecting its members' listings with buyers, renters and investors locally, nationally and internationally.
Operating independently, GLOBAL LISTINGS as a company is not affiliated, owned with or controlled by any real estate association, including the National Association of Realtors. Therefore, membership in NAR is not required to join their GLS.
GLS membership is available on a month-to-month subscription basis with no long-term commitments and can be canceled at any time. As a membership benefit, GLS members can upload, edit or swap out their listings inventories to the platform anytime at no additional cost.
GLS memberships are open to a wide range of industry professionals worldwide, including all agents, brokers, home builders, developers, investors, landlords, asset managers, banks and government entities. The platform accommodates all types of property listings -- residential, commercial, vacation and land -- actively for sale, rent, auction or exchange, anywhere in the world.
Members can easily upload listings in bulk through IDX, XML or manual entry. The GLS offers four membership tiers, with pricing starting at $29 per month and going up to $999 per month, depending on the selected plan.
Gerrity further emphasized the platform's industry significance, stating, "Our new Global Listings Service is a much-needed market solution the real estate industry has been lacking for many years. A global MLS platform should have been created decades ago -- but wasn't -- until now. Bottom line, we are about fulfilling unmet market needs on a global scale".
GLOBAL LISTINGS is a wholly owned business subsidiary of World Property Markets, a privately held property technology holding company.
