Miami-based WORLD PROPERTY MARKETS founder and CEO Michael Gerrity announced plans this week to launch in mid-2025 the world's first global, AI-powered and consumer-facing MLS platform called GLOBAL LISTINGS.
Gerrity calls their new platform a "GLS" (Global Listings Service) instead of the commonly used industry term of an MLS because it is vastly different on many levels, including making the GLS publicly accessible to all and hosting tens of millions of property listings across all categories and locations worldwide, and in multiple languages.
Gerrity explains that this next-generation GLS platform will be built upon the company's current GLOBAL LISTINGS v1.0 platform today, currently hosting over 3+ million listings in 110 countries and growing.
Other notable features that set it apart from other traditional real estate MLS platforms include:
"Both buyers and sellers will benefit from a highly personalized search experience, with access to a global inventory of listings and relevant market data in their own language and currency, allowing them to make well-informed decisions in real-time", says Gerrity.
The company also notes that GLOBAL LISTINGS v2.0 will highly leverage advanced technologies to connect people, properties, and markets worldwide far more efficiently and cost-effectively. By using AI and large-scale data to digital target high-probability buyers globally, the platform aims to reduce customer acquisition costs by 5 to 10 times for property sellers, generating significant savings in equity and selling costs.
"Bottom line, we are building the world's first and most powerful real estate customer 'Cyber Hunting Machine' ever created", concludes Gerrity.
