Featuring the legendary "Bear Trap" -- one of the most demanding, three-hole stretches on the PGA TOUR -- The Champion moves dramatically up the list from its No. 96 position in 2010. The survey, which included hundreds of U.S. courses, examined overall strength of routing, feature shaping, natural setting, greens, variety and memorability of holes, conditioning and maintenance, landscape management and other criteria.
